HORRIBLE service, help!!

~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~rokr, I had major reception issues with Sprint before merger, as we'll as Nextel before merger. I had lots of dropped calls and no service in NJ, DE, and parts of PA--even in major cities. Depending on where I was in Philly, I had no service. This was about 3 or 4 yrs ago. I have never gone back since.

It does sound very possible that the original poster May have a defective 8700g unit. I'd try a handset exchange.

Where are using your service in NJ? I get reception in NJ.
 
i live in NY.. lived in the bronx, manhattan, and now in Queens .. even stayed up on rockland with friends for a while and my parents recently bought a house in Linden NJ.. i've never missed a call or a text message in any of these places.. through out this time i had Verizon and went from the Treo to the Blackberry 7250 to the Razr then back to my BB 7250.. BB the best in my book. but with all these phones i never had any coverage problems problems..
