I got a used 2007 jeep liberty in august and within the last month it's been having horn problems. The first time it happened my horn blared constant and very loudly until the battery died also at this time the remote key would not work, the doors were locking and unlocking on their own, and the car would not start. The second time the horn blared again, the car wouldnt start, the remotes wouldnt work, and the lights turned on and i just unplugged the battery. The most recent time the horn blared and the remote didnt work and i lifted the hood and within a minute it stopped. It has been to the dealer several times now the battery is new, and the horn fuse was replaced, but that still didnt fix it. No mechanic has any idea whats wrong and im stuck with a car that just randomly decides to go psycho on me in the worst possible places. I've also noticed that it seems to happen during or after a very heavy rain. Could it be a leak? Anyone else had this problem?
