Horn not working on 91 FLSTC Harley Davidson?

I just recently pulled out the heritage classic the other day, and i was getting it running.

problem is, i need to get an inspection sticker..

ill turn on the bike, and sometimes the horn will go, but it sounds very faint like its about to die out. and other times it wont even work at all.

i know the guy who does inspections so he will probably pass me w/o a horn anyway, but i would like to get it working just in case.

i think he'd pass me because the bikes so loud you couldnt even hear the horn unless it was off!

In that case, replace it.
Make sure the wiring is ok, just for your comfort.
A simple test light will work for that.
Horns do die.
The adjustment screw that TXm42 refers to is meant to change the tone of the horn. Sometimes, moving the screw can temporarily help a horn with a sticking movement.
