I am diagonsed with ocd,biopolar,severe anxiety and panic attacks my life is horrible i feel so alone i have been put on prozac 2omg 2 days ago all i feel is more anxiety will the side effects go away or will i have to deal with them also? I am also on zanex 3 times a day i doubt anyone else has all of these illnesses at the same time like i do if you do please help with with some advise on how to cope with life i am getting worse as i get older it is a pathetic life to live and i am not getting anybetter will i get better? Sorry this is my 1st post and it is long but i have so much to share and try and get help so please if you have any advise for me let me no thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!:(
 
Oh girl, I am bipolar, BPD, alcoholic and a drug addict!are you kidding? I ahve a lot of other diagnoses too numerous to mention. Yes the side effects will go away. Does the xanax help what it is supposed to help? Write more...searchin
 
A lot of times when you are put on a SSRI, you feel worse before you feel better. Plus, it takes about 4-6 weeks for them to work. I'm sorry you feel so bad, and I hope that it starts working soon. I am OCD and panic without agoraphobia, and although I know it is not nearly as much as you are dealing with, before I got on meRAB and therapy, it was very, very overwhelming.
 
I'm really sorry about all this!! How long have you been on xanax? Are you taking anything besides prozac and xanax? if you corabine mind-altering drugs like that a lot of people can't take it. It's just too much. Have you tried yoga? Some are actually allergic to xanax. All these drugs have side effects. Are you in regular counseling? Psychiatrists often just write out scripts. Psychologists are into counseling; they can't write scrips.
