Hopefully not too stupid of a question

I hope this doesn't sound stupid. But I just got my new BB pearl from TMO and am new to the whole web and email on your phone. How long does it generally take for emails to be pushed to your phone? I didn't notice anything until tonight when I had a friends send me something through email and have still not gotten on my BB yet. I was playing around with it and if I send an email it works fast, but i did a test reply email and havne't gotten it yet and its been about 10 min. Help?

lizaly - generally, i'd say anywhere from instant to 10 min...if it takes longer, prolly something wrong

I am leaving a company that has a BB server and will have to go it alone on my BB =(
Glad to hear email still keeps up in nearly "real time". I was afraid to find out what life would be like sans server!

i agree with cherri. ive tested my pearl(tmo) and as soon as i click send from my desktop it generally takes 30 secs. but then agqain sometimes i wont get one for a few mins. most likely it were you are.
