so i wrote a book back in middle school, it's ok, i'm still gonna work with it and maybe write a sequal. but i've decided to take some time away from that story and those characters and write something different. my idea is to write a satire of a few scary movies and make it kinda funny. so far my outline sounds like the movie clue, a group of totally different people wind up in a house in the middle of nowhere and people start dying, possibly by a jason-like figure. anywho, i've always enjoyed comedy, and if i can i'd like to make it funny at moments without it being too slapstick, ya know? oh yeah, and i think it'd be best, easiest, and new for me, to write it in a split-narrative style. i've only written in first person or immediate future first person. so any help with the split narrative part or general comments about the idea would be very much appriciated! thanks!
