i have the onkyo reciver tx sr 506 having hdmi pass through but optical and digital and 7.1 multichannel audio analog input, my blu ray philips 7500 having digital, coaxial and 7.1 multichannel audios output. I have a setup of 7.1 speakers of jamo with a active subwoofer also of jamo.
now i am confussed which audio connection will be better for me whether digital or multi channel analoge as i want to listen full 7.1 channel surround sound and even how i can use this combination to listen future coming bluray with dts hd and dts master. so someone please tell me for audio which connectivity will be better for me in my ht. as i have readed that optical and coaxial can't support dts hd and dts master is it true if yes help me out how to connect my blu ray philips 7500 and onkyo tx sr 506. and tell me if i go for multicannel analog is their will be the difference in quality of the sound.
