Both people are pretty much pushing the same policies. Sure there are some small differences. But if you think there is any real change going to happen, you are a fool.
I'm not from the US but I too dislike McCain. He can only further damage the world view of the US. From a pure shallow, personality point of view, Obama is younger, more attractive and charismatic - other countries will respond favourably to that.
Out of 300m people, surely you could have done better (on both sides.) McCain was ok in 2000 but he's just terrible now. Obama - I'm still not sure.
They are quite different. For example they have very different views on abortion, and tax policy.
Your second point is that neither can accomplish anything.
I think if McCain wins the country’s problems will stagnate because he (McCain) will have a hard time passing legislation with a democratic house and senate.
Obama on the other hand would have support from the legislative branch. Whether or not this is a good thing depends on your view of his (their) policies.
good thing the president doesn't rule on abortion. And not really on tax policy, their plans are to cut taxes and increase the debt. Only difference is the focus on the cuts. [/color]
