Through the black curtains,
I can see your face in the moonlight.
Your almond eyes peering in,
Undressing my vulnerable body.
Through the shadows, a sinister smile,
A desire left unpure.
My quivering hands try,
But they couldn’t close the curtain.
Inviting you in to quench my thirst;
Fueling your blazing fire.
Bodies come in rough contact,
Sweat glistening along flesh.
I knew the poison you couldn’t resist.
You knew the venom along your lips
Would leave me trapped an eternity.
Never to blend in with society,
Only belonging behind our closed doors.
Laying in this bed, our bodies empty.
Sin devouring our lives,
We breath contently.
No, NOT vampires.
