I'm in the 6th grade. I DO have copyright on these. I just need opinions on the following poems. This is what I want to do for a living and I need to know if I'm any good.

Thawing Out. By Alison Monique Rolof. March 26, 2009
A heart turned to ice, a mind, to stone.
A soul is lost in a dark abyss, all alone.
As days lead to weeks, a body cries.
The winter heart begins to die.
The flame of hope, though, is still alight,
The broken heart and mind combine in fight.
Soon, the mind relaxes in a light, hazy ease.
The heart successfully calms to rid its freeze.
The lost love is not in sight, nor thought.
The bandaged heart thawed out to save from rot.
Free Soul. (wrote this "on the moment" not very good.)
Released the heart, freed the soul,
Finally allowed to feel "whole"
The past is past, the future is bright,
Close your eyes and fly away, into the star-lit night!
Before you cry another tear,
Remember that you are held dear,
By family, or by friends,
you are loved so your life will never have a bitter end.
Just Breathe. (dedicated to Zuki+Asma M.thx 4helpin me get over him!)
The past is a memory, go on, forget.
Don't return to times when you let.
Let a lover control you, uravel your mind,
Let a lover hurt you and act unkind.
Take a breath and move on,
the lover is far behind, they're gone.
Breathe and let go,
cry without worring if the tears show.
Breathe and forget the time you wasted,
Breathe to mend your broken heart and face it.
The past is no longer, you live in the present.
Breathe and forget the one that treated you as a peasent.
The Crystal Heart. ( a poem from when I was grieving.... long story
)
It sparkles like diamonds in the night's dark abyss,
It flutters like a bird's delicate wings with ust one soft kiss.
It shatters like a pane of glass, when faced with the word "goodbye"
It freezes when it believes another lie.
The Crystal Heart is fragile, far too precious to be handled,
But a foolish person blew it away like the flame from a candle.
It may wait weeks, maybe months to heal.
Will it ever? only time will reveal.
