I am about to purchase a 1980s Honda XR100 (the one with a front drum brake) and I want to street-legalise it. It has a title and all the paperwork and runs very well for what it is now. I can put a mirror on it easily, but it also requires a headlight, rearlight and speedometer. I do NOT want turn signals or a battery, this must be kept simple. What can I do to get a working headlight+on/off switch, and a brake light+switch? And can I swap the front wheel for one with a mech. speedo input? (in order to have a standard speedo instead of a bicycle or digital one).
