okay so how this started was i down shift into 2nd gear at 45 mph, i heard a loud popping sound as if a rock hit under my car. and i notice my shifter was rocking back and worth like crazy now and its sitting too far up. i check the shift linkage bushing its still good. any clue on what it could be.
