Honda Nighthawk or Suzuki TU250 as inexpensive first bike...?

I've ridden dirt bikes for the last ten years and finally got my street endorsement and I'm in the market for a simple 'naked' first bike. I like the looks of the Nighthawk better, but are there benefits of the Suzuki over the Honda??

Here are the specs of each bike:
Nighthawk 250
Displacement: 234cc
Type: air-cooled vertical twin-cylinder
Bore and Stroke: 53mm x 53mm
Compression Ratio: 9.2:1
Valve Train: SOHC; two valves per cylinder
Induction: Single 26mm CV carburetor
Ignition: CDI
Transmission: Five-speed
Final Drive: O-ring chain

Suzuki TU250:

Displacement: 249cc
Type: 4-stroke, single-cylinder, Air-cooled, SOHC
Bore Stroke: 72.0mm X 61.2mm
Compression Ratio: 9.2:1
Fuel System: Fuel injection
Lubrication: Wet sump
Ignition: Electronic ignition (fully transistorized)
Transmission: 5-speed constant mesh
Final Drive: N/A

Your thoughts??

I just started riding a bike last year and I have a honda 250 rebel I like it, but if you plan on riding a lot and you have experience on a bike you might want something bigger. I'm looking to get a bigger bike once I pay mine off. It's nice if you are just riding on main roads, but if you want to go on the expressway you are kinda maxed out on power when you are going 70 and wind gust really hit you hard.

The 250 Ninja is a better bike in every way, and it's only slightly more expensive. On top of that, they have great resale value.

That's just my opinion though.

Honda has dropped the CB250 for 2009, get a 2008 before they are gone. Or an earlier used one as they have been around since the 1980's and still retain the drum brakes front and rear.

The TU250 is new for 2009, has a disk up front where all the braking force is.

As a long time dirt rider you know that singles rule due to stump pulling low end torque and light weight. Also true on the street.
