I have a question....I bought a used hybrid 07 that had been in a prior accident. I took it to get checked out by Honda and they gave it a thumbs up saying there was no frame damage and I bought a good car. Next thing you know, The engine mounts broke and the engine fell. When I had the car towed to Honda he told me it was under warranty but it was not since the 3 year time frame is over. I bought the car as is from the used car lot so there is no recourse there. The Honda dealership told me it fell because of the damage done in the accident, the bolts might have been overtightened or something when whoever repaired it worked on it. I am going to have a $4k bill, but don't know what to do? Do I have any recourse anywhere?? What should be my next step?

Thanks but it was not a salvaged car, just a car that was in a minor accident that I bought from a used car dealership, not Honda. But I did take it to Honda to get it checked out. Do they really have any obligation because they checked it out and said it was a good car?
