I have a honda engine. It has spark, it has fuel. The carb is not clogged I not only cleaned it and it was fine, but even tried a new carb. Put in a fresh plug as well. Fuel is fresh... so I'm not getting anything not even a sputter really. As mentioned it has fuel and spark no problem but it's not even trying to crank. Had the carb off and everything is hooked up properly. I made sure it had plenty of oil so it wasn't an oil sensor keeping the engine from running. I'm a certified motorcycle mechanic but I don't know anything about the governors. Could this be the issue? It appears to have good compression... I just don't know lawn engines. CLUE - if you don't have mechanical skills please don't respond. I've tried all the basics and have owned a motorcycle shop for over a decade. So please don't tell me to change the air filter, or put fresh gas in it... Feel free to ask questions if you honestly understand "lawn" or "power equipment" engines I'll be happy to answer any questions you might have and one thing I don't know is anything about the valve adjustment on this meaning I have no clue if it's correct or not. I don't know anything about the GX120 engine and no clue on the previous maint., on this motor. Thx guys. Mike
