Honda Fit questions..performance, price, etc.?

Hi,

I am looking to get a Honda Fit (2007-2009) next summer. What is your opinion about these cars?

-I hear they aren't that good on the freeways...what does this mean? Can it go 70-80 comfortably? I'm deciding between the auto or manual, is it forgiving if I'm not that good at manual?

-What is your ESTIMATE of the price of the car next year..something like a used 07-08?

-Any other experiences with this car?
