Just wanting some info from you guys and gals if possible ...........
I have a honda dylan 125cc 54 plate, 4 stroke and last sunday i was travelling along at 60mph when it started to lose speed and finally cut out. Found out from the garage where it was last serviced from that it had no oil in it which has now damaged my engine but it was only serviced 700 miles ago. Found out from many people that oil just doesnt disappear all together, it only disappears if it leaks which it hasn't. So i have come to the conclusion that the serivce wasn't done properly. I never checked the oil mainly because i had a 50cc before this and i never checked the oil in 2000 miles so i found no reason to check it.
Now there is a knocking sound in the lower part of the engine which the garage said it would cost £250-300 to rebuild it but i have found someone that will do it for £100.
Is it possible anyone knows what a bottom end rebuild is? i would like some info so i can get in the know how to. Thanks
