i took in my car to get a batter issue fixed and it came out with new body damage. there is now some ugly spots of clear coat coming off. im meticulous about keeping my car nice and other than a few very small scratches on it, its perfect.
the "director of parts and service" repeatedly denied it with irrelavent information. i was plenty reasonable. i pointed out scratches that were MY fault and told them i only expect them to take responsibility for what THEY did, but he was SO defensive that he was denying marks that he didnt need to because i said they were mine. he even went as far as to say "oh yes, LONG FINGERNAILS probably did this". to me that is a sexist remark, to infer that "long fingernails" (which i nowhere near have) are a cause of damage. They also kept handing my boyfriend the paperwork to sign and kept talking to him instead of me for the most part even though the car is in my name along with all info they have on it.
i just want them to fix what they did. i dont think thats too much to ask. who do i contact to get the ball rolling? the dealership wont do anything.
*battery
haha, not batter, i could never do that to my lovely si <3
oh and they also tried to use the excuse that because my car was not washed when it came to them, they couldnt see if it was there before or not, but the damage they caused would be visible off the bat either way. dirt is brown and the damage is white. i SAW the guy check my car thoroughly for damage and nothing was marked on the slip as damaged.
