Honda CRV The key will not come out from ignition... seems to be stuck on II?

The car will start and operate fine... only after putting it in park and turning engine off, it will not release. It has to be pushed in and turned back to release normally, and will push in, but will not turn back to the I starting postition. Help?
taken suggestions... still not working... as if it's not engaging into park!!! the wheel isn't locking or anything. I shake the wheel and the tires turn... Still, the key won't budge. It's 2001 automatic.
 
Spray key slot with graphic.
Jiggle key around so spray wil infiltrate.
This should free up the tumblers and allow
key to have full function.
