The sound began to go on all 4 speakers of my 2008 Honda CRV simultaneously (off and on) until one day there was nothing- no sound out of any of the speakers.
We assumed it was the deck so we bought a new one and wired it, but when installed there still was not any sound. We have concluded that there must be some sort of a wiring problem, but it doesn't seem to make sense that all 4 speakers could have wiring/shorting issues at the same time.
We troubleshooted the speakers by hooking up a home stereo to the speakers through the wiring harness but got no sound out of any speakers.
Does anyone have any advice on how to go about troubleshooting this problem?
