Honda crv, my brother used the red master key instead of normal one, now car...

...wont start.? He said it trys to tick over twice but then nothing. He had the timing done on it, and an auto electrician had a look but still nothing. The honda garage wish to charge a fortune, like they do. If anyone can help it would be appreciated, thank you.
we think somehow it's caused the immobizer to kick in which is affecting the starter.
