We have a growing family, and amazingly I've still been getting by with my '95 two door Civic. I have a 16 month old and we're planning to add to our family in the upcoming years. I don't want something huge, and really like both the CR-V & Rav4. Is there anything especially negative or positive I should know about either of them that could help me decide? I'll probably end up with a CR-V (because I love Hondas) unless I get some negative feedback on them. Thanks in advance :-)

I'd go for Toyota RAV 4, it's more spacious specially when you have little children. Toyota has been known with good engine and long running around.

I suggest you go with a V6 Toyota Rav4.

It has more room than a CR-V and has more power with the same gas mileage as the 4 cylinders inside the CR-V and base I4 Rav4.

But both are great vehicles, you can't go wrong with either car.

I was raised in a RAV4 and now i sometime drives it. That should tell you how long that car has lasted. Also it has alot more room then the CRV becuz my friend HAD one.

my wife is pregnant. we are getting a CR-V. its more reliable and has a better crash testing rating.

Nothing negative about either one. My guess is the test drive will be the deciding factor.

I would suggest Honda CR-V from the last time I checked they have a better resale value. Hope it helps
