I have a 1999 Honda CR 250 with an engine problem. Im debating weather to buy a whole new/used engine for about $700 or to rebuild the entire thing. dont know if i will have all the parts and tools to do the job and dont want to get to far into it and not be able to finish due to stupid stuff like not having the right tool, then having to order more parts and wait for shipping...SO i was wondering the time frame the bike was built in that makes engines compatable with the frame. I think its 1992-2001, but not sure, thats why Im asking. Also is it possible to put a newer engine in a 1999 frame, will it fit properly?
