Hey, so I have this 1971, Honda CL70, 70cc motorcycle that I've been working on for a few months now. I have recently bought a new battery, ignition coil, and spark plug for it. After hooking everything up it wouldn't idle (it hasn't really been able to idle since I got it). I looked at the plug and it looked carbon fouled, indicating a mixture which was too rich. Seeing as it didn't respond well to adjusting the screws I changed the float to a lower level. Now it wont even start. I tried putting it on every almost every height but it wont start. Can someone please tell me the factory settings for the float, idle, and mixture screw?
I'd also like to add that I have the clymer book for my bike however in the book they show a different carburetor than the one on my bike. I think the one in the book is newer. It says the float height needs to be 7mm, however in this carb the float hangs from the top, in mine it is on the bottom half of the carb.
