Or a better battery or anything? Some people say a capacitor, some people say for a Sony Xplod 1000 watt amp the stock alt will do just fine, not blaring it all the time. When I turn it up loud and the hard bass hits the lights dim somewhat, but I was told thats just because it suddenly takes so much juice and that it doesn't hurt the alternator. Everyone is giving conflicting advice. Do I need a cap? A new alternator? Is it okay the way it is?
