Honda Civic Type R or BMW 330ci?

Trying to decide between a 2005 Honda Civic Type-R and a 2004 BMW 330ci. Both are about the same speed, both have similar mileage and both have full service history. Iv have not sat in either yet, but as I am 6 foot 9 head room and leg room could be an issue. Saying that though my last two cars was a corsa b and then an audi s3, which were both fine. The mpg on the honda is probably a little better. The reliability on both is supposedly good. So any suggestions with reasons?
