Hello, I am thinking about getting an early 90's through late 90's Honda Civic for my first car, specifically the 2 door coupe models (not the hatchbacks) and I don't know whether to choose an automatic or manual transmission Honda. I know that Manual saves gas, needs less maintenance and is cheaper to fix but I want an automatic since I live in Cali which is a bit of traffic. My question is how reliable is an automatic gear box in these specific years of Honda Civics compared to the manual transmission models, which one would I be better off with?
