i have a 1990 honda civic hatch that has a 1.5 liter engine. i bought it as a to b car. im trying to get it passed smog but my rpm's are way too high when it is in park. i need help in trying to lower them. ive done just about everything from rebuilding the entire engine to replacing sensors and tubes. replacing all gaskets replaced the cat converter, rebuilt the trottle body as well as replacing the gaskets, replaced the piston rings and rods, etc etc. ive literally rebuilt the entire engine and its components. the belts are new and all timed correctly. ive checked forums and bought books on hondas but it still idles way too high. has anyone had this problem and can give some tips or on what to do?
thanks to everyone who can help in advance.
