Honda civic Problem of transmission changing. this car is automatic?

what could be the possible problem with this? when i was driving, its like your pressing the gas and the RPM is going high but your car doesnt move. or its not shifting to gear, its neutral, and sometyms its moving when you press hard the gas. what could be the problem? ATF? -- sorry for my english
