Hi. My nephew has a problem with his car. Last nite while he was driving his car he notice his temperature was reading hot. he pulled over and notice a smoke comin out from under the hood. Wen he popped open the hood ther has been a cut on the side of the radiator hose. Luckly he has a spare hose in his trunk and began to make the switch once the car cooled off. After refilling the car with water and coolant, his car seems to still overheat. Don't know why. And also white smoke was comin out of his tail pipe as he rev the car and when he drives. Can somebody tell us what just went wrong after a simple busted hose that cause the car to over heat? A friend say it's the thermostate and other say blown head gasket. .....
