I have an 06 Civic that I had the oil changed about 200 miles ago. At that time, the mechanic didn't reset the "oil life" warning, so now it keeps flashing, and the little "wrench" warning light stays on. (It even says I'm at "negative miles" since it's been a while that it's needed reset).
I read that I'm supposed to hold in the reset button until the oil life flashes, then let go, then hold the reset button again until it clears. This doesn't work because the oil life number is ALWAYS flashing. I keep holding it in, and holding it in, but it's not clearing!!!
I can't seem to reset this stupid thing! Help!
