honda civic engine swap?

ok i am looking to do a engine swap for my 05 civic ex. i know i need a k20 but honda makes like 9 k20 engines and my question is can i just put the k20a engine in or do i have a choice between the k20a 2 3 4 or 6? thanks
 
well the k20a3 is the best for turbo but the k20a and k20a2 is the best for all motor....or a hybrid of a k20a head and k24a2 block for all motor...
