I have a '98 civic illusion and want something a bit faster, but love the car so am considering and engine swap. i have owned a 1.5 vtec in the past and love honda engines! does anyone know how much at a garage (UK preferably, but any price will help) it would cost to swap my non-vtec D14A4 engine to a B16A2 vtec, or even B18C1 vtec? just labour costs, i will have everything ready, block, loom etc.
ps. i realise labour charges vary, but a ball-park figure would be good.
