Honda Civic Battery light flashes for a fraction of a second?

I have a 2002 Honda Civic. I replaced the alternator last week. Couple of days later I am seeing my battery light flashing. It is not a proper flash or in proper intervals. The light flashes for like half a second.

Sometimes the interval between flashes in 1 or 2 seconds and sometimes it is 4 or 5 minutes. It didn't flash for one day and now started doing the same again.

Can someone say why this might happen?

Maybe your connections between your battery post and your positive and negative terminals is loose and when you hit a bump the light comes on, those lights are designed to pop on around 12v. check your battery to make sure its holding a charge make sure everything turns off in your car while its parked good luck
