honda civic 99 maintence required?

my honda civic 99 ex model. On the guage cluster it has a color meter that says maintence required its supposed to be green but now its yellow i just changed the oil last month but i didnt reset that meter is there anything i should worry about before i reset it? like what are the things that trigger that meter to change colors?
 
Well you can try to unplug the battery for a minute and plug it back in and see if that helps.

If that fails i would take it to autozone and have them check it. it will be wayy faster then trying to guess whats wrong with it.
