Thinking about a private purchase of a 1997 honda civic, 57000 miles, 1,200 pounds.?

Looks good, full service history, MOT for a year, 3 months tax, low insurance. Automatic (I need this - automatic only license)

I had a honda once, an 89 accord that let me down, but it was twice as many miles and a shoddy mechanics fault as much as anything.

Anyone think this is a good deal?
 
That's a good deal. I have initially thought you said 12,000 pounds (which would have been way overpriced). I would go for it. It has low mileage for a Honda.
