I tried to drive to work this morning when suddenly I lost lots of power in the acceleration! I came out of a junction in first gear and accelerated to get some speed. I got up to 3000rpm and changed to second gear when suddenly the engine light came on and I was loosing lots of power. I was only able to drive at a pathetic speed of 20mph max!!! and 40mph in second!!!! As a result I had to return home and call my boss to explain my excuse to why I'm not going to work. This is not good as i've just started my new job last month!
This has happened before on the A21 in Kent earlier this year which was very scary!!! What the hell is going on with my Honda?!!! I thought Honda was the most reliable car on the road but my old Ford Escort 1.6i LX was more reliable before I traded it in for this. Can anyone please tell me what the hell is wrong with this bloody engine!!!! I am losing my confidence with Honda's claimed reliability! My car has only done 72K miles and is a 2003 model. Anyone with any helpful advice to what is wrong or thinks is wrong with the car gets 5 stars!!! That's 4 stars more than I would give Honda at the moment!!! LOL
