I'm getting a motorcycle very soon (within the year). I have been into them since I was about 10. I have some limited experience with dirt bikes (and 4-wheelers, but that doesn't matter). I'm 6' 2", 160 lbs. I've sat on a 250 Ninja and a Honda Rebel before, and they're much too small, I feel like I'm sitting on one of those boingy horse things that you see in little kids parks. I don't have a Suzuki dealership anywhere near me, so the SV650 is out, too. I don't get tickets, I don't like to speed, or do any "stuntin" in front of the Quik-Mart to impress the prom queen or whatever. With the MSF course, the proper gear, and the knowledge that a stupid mistake can end in death or disfigurement, what's the verdict? Too much bike?
P.S I posted a question on here a few months ago suggesting that the Desmosedici RR was a good beginner bike and that I wanted one. That was a joke, obviously, I wouldn't ride that beast if someone paid me to.
