I have a 2001 Honda CBR 600 f4i (fuel injected) it is winter here and it is the coldest winter in a long while. I have started throughout the winter, it started last time, but I went to start it today and it won't turn over. At first it made a half-hearted attempt to turn over, but now it doesn't even attempt to turn over. When I press the starter it just makes a fast paced buzzing noise coming from the battery, I'm assuming the battery has slowly drained down from the cold and is finally dead. But I just wanted to make sure that it wasn't anything else. I'm going to go ahead and charge the battery, if anyone has any other ideas please let me know. FYI the fuel pump does prime when I turn the key and when I press the starter the lights and dash board sputter and it resets so, to me, this seems like it is just a bad battery. Unless the engine is locked up or flooded or something?
