Honda cbf 125 is it a good bike?

I currently have a 125 scooter but im getting a bit bored of the twist and go. For the last few months I have been looking at changing to a bike like the Cbf 125 I like the bike but just wondering will the bike be a safe bike to ride as it looks to be light. The scooter I have at the minute is quite heavy so it handles very well. Also from some of the reviews the tyres are not good and are very skinny will this affect the bike if so do you think I should look at another bike?
