I've asked a few questions on here and I suppose all it's really doing is confusing me more.
I've considered the H22A, the K20A (deemed too expensive for me), and B-Series engines like the B16A and B18C.
I think what it comes down to is three questions.
a) If I put in a H22A, would I lose my A/C and my power steering?
b) Which would be the easiest to swap into my car?
c) Which, in the long run, is going to be the cheapest (i.e. buying the engine, improving its internals (forged pistons etc), having the swap done, and buying general performance parts for)?
The car is a 99 Honda Civic CXi (yes, I'm in Australia - and because of that, I daresay most of the Civics will have their original engines, with a few mods - so maybe a B16A would do the trick nicely?)
