honda auto trans question the motro revs when shifts into 3rd an 4th gear?

my motor revs in betwwen gear changes on 3rd and 4th gear on my civic. when it shifts into 2nd it does fine it just seems like its taking a long more time to change into the gear maybe? what could be the problem
