i have a 1999 automatic honda accord v6 coupe with about110,000. When i start my car in the morning the rpm idles around 1500, but after 1 minute of warming up the rpm goes to its normal 800 rpm. If i shift the car into reverse right when i start the car, the car shifts with a jerk due to high idle and about a second delay. If i shift into reverse once the car is warmed up and the engine rpm is under 1000, its shifts ok but theres still a second delay in the shift. Also, when driving with gentle or hard throttle, i feel a small jerk from 1st to 2nd gear. The gear jerks harder when im turning. i recently got a check engine light for insufficient egr flow. Im going to try and get that fixed as soon as i can. What do u guys think the problem is with the jerking. Could it be the Egr valve, transmission, etc.
Thx for help.
