I am looking at getting either a Honda Accord or an Acura RSX. Which be a better pick, specifically regarding issues like ease of maintenance, gas mileage, insurance rates, features, and safety? I am looking for something fun, economical, and relatively cheap to run. Also, are there any major differences between the Accord coupe and the sedan that I should be aware of?
To be specific, a seventh gen Accord. As for the RSX, either body style. I am choosing between these two cars because I love Hondas and am looking to spend in the range of 8,000 or so, a general going rate for either of these cars in my area (though the Accords are more common and probably just a wee bit cheaper). I do commute 20 miles to a from work, so I'd be putting a lot of miles in it, but I want it to be reasonably fun and powerful.
