I am getting a stored trouble code. p1166 for my2000 registered honda accord 2.0 se vtec sport ( UK/ Euro SPEC).
It shows no permanent trouble codes. but the trouble code for ( stored ) is
" p1166.. no definition found "
I have removed the negative from the battery and also the clock fuse in the passenger side fuse box.
The engine management light is on.
I can clear it with my obd 2 scanner but it comes back on.
It says no definition found next to the error on proscan.
I have checked the error on the Honda Specific Trouble Codes.
It shows
P1166Primary HO2S (No. 1) Heater System Electrical
P1167Primary HO2S (No. 1) Heater System
Sometimes it also brings up p1167 code also.
Could it be a faulty o2 sensor? I have recently replaced the ECT ( engine coolant temperature sensor ) and that fault has been resolved and the car is showing no signs of that problem anymore.
