i have honda accord 2002 i found that temperature Gauge is going up then i check the coolant it was below the minimum level i fill it up and took the car to my mechanic he remove the thermostat valve and he change the radiator cap after few days my heater pipe got leak i change it. then i thought may be the radiator is choked with rust so i took my car for radiator cleaning after cleaning the radiator when technician was filling up the coolant into the radiator while car was start but radiator through the coolant out of the radiator it seems that water is boiling and jumping out from the radiator but car Gauge is not showing any heat up problem fans are also working and while driving also there is no heat up showing in Gauge but when i stop the car on signal or driving in congested area then temperature Gauge goes up to the center and immediately fans are started and temperature again come to the normal (1/4 )but my mechanic he doubts that might be he need to change the head gasket make the facing Again on head as he feels that car has heat up and need to change the gasket and make the head facing or may the water pump is not working properly.
can somebody please tell me that what problem could be there as i don't want to spend too much money on car but need to solve this problem.
