ok, so i was working on the honda accord and i bumped the heater control valve, when i bumped the valve control arm it moved up to a 12 oclock position, (all the way up) the heat in the car does not work now due to that, i was going to pull it back down last night but i figured it would adjust itself back to the proper position but i was wrong, if i push the 'arm' down i feel some resistance and i want to check to see if there is something i need to do before moving the arm to keep from damaging the part, do i need to have the engine running? the heat on or off? or can i just pull the arm down??????
