All door and trunk Key Lock cylinders went bad, to replace the DRIVER lock is $213, PASSENGER side is $220, TRUNK lock cost: too scared to ask.
I bought a door lock from Honda for $37.50 & a friend put it on for $50. I did not convert the new keys to the ignition lock. I have 2 keys to open the door, 2 keys to drive. If I change the Passenger & Trunk key locks, I will have total 8 keys to operate this car, 6 keys to open each door & 2 keys to drive, sounds like fun? That’s the Honda!
I went to Honda first, Honda’s policy is 3 years or 35,000 miles, whichever is shorter. Mine is over 35,000 and not under the warranty.
Believe or not, the door locks were not went bad in the same time, the 2.5th years: driver’s door lock went bad, the 3rd year, trunk lock went bad, we solely rely on the passenger door lock, but few months later, passenger lock went bad. This car normally parked into my garage. No enemies, not been stolen, because the ignition is operated by computer chip. I also put a Club on my steering wheel.
