honda accord 1999 model Interior Lights?

hi
i've honda accord 1999, when at time of night i start my car the lights in dashborad r maximum ( means fully bright) but when i turn on the headlight by rotating the panel, the lights in dashborad r not fully bright, it fades to low brightness.
can anybody tell me how to increase the brightness in interior parts with headlights on or does it all depends on the SENSOR in the car which control the light system.( located on top of clock in center
 
Alot of vehicles have a way to adjust the brightness of the insturment light. Try that first. If that don't do it, you may need to check the fuses.
