honda 2000 accord dimmer module went out. it has a N channel Mosfet rated at 40 volts and 20 anmpere. The mosfet is being driven with a pwm pulse with modulation from dimmer control and the mosfet drives the instrument cluster lights. The part is from motorola with markings 004 20N . Of course they want you to pay 500 dollars to replace a less than one dollar part. I just put logic mosfet driver from Vishay and it works. Dims and all. the part number from Vishay is a SUD45N05-20L-E3 OR MOUSER PART NUMBER 781SUD45N05-20L-E3 . It is the same 239 footprint. If the mosfet in the module looks blown and has at least visible marking of 004 or 20N thats your part you want to replace. It is the closest to the conector. Dont replace till i confirm it works well. This mosfet rating is a 50volt 30 amp 75watt. Replace at your own risk.. but it works for me, but make sure that part is really blown before you replace.
